Amanda Joy and Jason Wells make a great team. They married in the spring of 2009 and quickly set out to integrate their professional lives which started out with adding decorative murals to Jason's list of offerings at Sublime Signs llc, of which he has been the owner since starting the business in 2005 out of a spare bedroom. His business has grown substantially over the last seven years, his clients including many creative businesses and organizations in Central Oklahoma.
An artist by profession, Amanda Joy has been a muralist for the last fourteen years as well as an art instructor for children and adults since 1999. She spent one year studying under the tutelage of Dr. Lucia Capacchione - renowned author and art therapist - in the intensive Creative Journal Expressive Arts training program, of which she graduated in April of 2008. In 2011, she continued her training and went on to become certified in Dr. Capacchione's groundbreaking Visioning® method. which Amanda Joy incorporates into programs and workshops in schools, churches and for businesses and organizations around the OKC metro.

Jason, attending a Creative Journal workshop early in their relationship, has been intrigued with the method. Once Amanda Joy became Creative Director of Sublime Signs llc, he proposed incorporating her Creative Journal offerings into a newly created Community Creative Outreach wing, informally titled 'Sublime Signs Creative', which provides creative workshops at Sublime Signs and programming for children and adults in homes, businesses and organizations throughout central Oklahoma.
Using the tools she learned working with a mural team and incorporating the Creative Journal Expressive Arts and Visioning® methods, Amanda Joy has a unique set of reflective and collaborative offerings that can be adapted for a wide array of functions and curriculums. Her goal is to help guide participants through a creative process where collaboration and reflection are central themes that can be applied beyond the creative process and carried out in all areas of life.
