SOAP MAKING 101
Amanda Joy Wells will instruct and inform you on how to make your own basic castille soap, tea tree oil soap, kitchen coffee soap, liquid hand/dish soap, and homemade powdered laundry soap. Each participant will take home: - 1 oz samples of each soap, laundry soap and liquid soap - Valuable info on hot process soap making, so you can easily make your own hand crafted soap at home! Information includes: a) supply list b) instructions for BASIC soap, including precautions and cleanup c) base oil properties d) essential oil quantities and benefits e) other additives f) natural colorants g) online resources for info and supplies While you are learning all about soap making, your children can get crafty with Lindsey Martin at the studio next door and create awesome one-of-a-kind containers for your homemade laundry soap and a mosaic soap dish to house your beautiful homemade soap. At the hour break, they will stretch and play games to keep the creativity flowing.
