Through group brainstorming projects, reflective activities and refinement processes, participants work together to come up with a collective vision or set of goals. They then develop a visual representation, which offers a tangible image of their collective vision and encourages cross-pollination of ideas, fostering a richer understanding of the goals that were agreed upon. Whether you are a small business needing to collaboratively brainstorm and refine solutions to an issue, a school or church group wanting to create a service project to alleviate a community need, or a family hoping to re-balance after a significant transition, creative team building is a fun and innovative way to define and cultivate group goals.
Participants brainstorm to identify a common vision and clarify key elements of their vision through simple creative activities, which they collectively refine and agree upon. Amanda Joy integrates all input into a final rendering which is then is projected, traced and painted by the group. This process is effective for:

With over a decade of working, supervising and facilitating in team settings, Amanda Joy has noted the following benefits of being involved in a team building project:
strengthens bonds between participantscreates a sense of 'buy-in' for the group or localeprovides a space for diverse cultures to become unified in a shared goal
offers a vehicle to learn the skill of adaptablilityprovides a space to practice collaboration creates opportunities to integrate individual ideas into a cohesive whole
These are all life skills that reach far beyond the realm of art and can be applied personally and professionally throughout a person's life. Besides fostering creative thinking, a team building project offers a medium for creative conflict resolution and morale improvement. It also gives individuals the opportunity to figure out how he or she fits into a collective. Leaders are revealed, as well as quiet organizers. Some see the big picture while others focus on details. These differences are all necessary in the collaborative process and can offer insights on how these individuals can more effectively work together in other ways.
